I am originally from South Africa. I completed my undergraduate studies in South Africa in 2003. Since then I’ve worked in England, South Africa, and in the only expatriate Physiotherapy clinic in Indonesia before moving to Australia in 2008. I have worked in all areas of Physiotherapy, but my main experience is in treating patients with musculoskeletal complaints.

I started teaching Clinical Pilates, pregnancy and post-natal Pilates classes in 2011 where I developed a particular interest in treating women with pelvic floor dysfunction. In 2016 I embarked on completing a post graduate qualification in Women’s health and continence at Curtin University to offer the best evidence based treatment to women of all ages. I however have a particular interest in treating women in the childbearing years since having 2 of my own babies. I have a hands on approach when treating patients, but I enjoy empowering people with the necessary skills to manage and prevent injuries. I am also trained in dry needling and have been teaching Pilates and exercise classes since 2011.

I am an APA member. I am due to complete my Certificate in Women’s health and Continence at the end of 2017.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and going on walks. I also love crocheting. Before having kids I enjoyed running, cycling and swimming and also attempted the odd triathlon and mountain biking. I am a proud mum of a 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl.
