Danae moved to Adelaide in 2019 from MacKay, Queensland, where she graduated from James Cook University in 2012.
After working in both private hospital and clinic settings, Danae developed a passion for Women’s and Men’s health. She has spent the last six years working mostly in a very busy sports physio clinic in Mackay however managed to find the time to further her studies in the specialised area of Women's Men's and pelvic health physiotherapy.
In 2018 she completed two Postgraduate Certificates in women's health and pelvic floor physiotherapy through the University of Melbourne - a very long way from the blue skies of Mackay! It was then that Danae made the move south to further develop her pelvic floor Physiotherapy skills at Vital Core Physiotherapy..
In addition to pregnancy, postnatal and women’s health conditions, Danae is a keen netballer and this year will suit up with Adelaide side Matrics. This love of netball inspires her to help young athletes of all sports reach their potential.
Being relatively new to town, she is also open to any and all recommendations regarding good food, wine and local hotspots!
